Thread: My BSNL Issues

My BSNL connection has been down since 4-Sep.

The problem that I am facing is that modem is unable to connect to PPPoE server (error 678 in bridge dial mode).

The bad thing is that BSNL is unable to fix my issue after several attempts. The good thing is that they are calling on my home number and sometimes even visiting my home. So I am having the traction but no result.

I am deciding whether it is worthwhile having a secondary connection. My options are Tata Indicom or Reliance Wimax. All of you have cursed them some time or other. Tell me what I should do?

Thats good to see your problems sorted out.

But anyhow, I was wondering if there is no Airtel broadband in your region as you have not included them in your Poll. They seem to be better and good service providers. I use BSNL but I know, Airtel has good customer care and also fast service. The best thing is they are cheap than anyone else.

I had checked with Airtel long time back - no connectivity. Tata Indicom and Reliance Wimax are my only options other that YOU telecom and Hathway which I am not even willing to consider.

Closing poll. I am keeping BSNL and not going for anything else.

Please pray for me that my I never face this situation again.
