    All these tools and utilities are fine but do not depend upon this.

    ISP never trust any reports generated by these softwares and the data which matters is the one which is available on My Account status in ISP's data page

    download a firefox extention called Datafox

    This is the best one.

    It shows the data from ur MTNL and BSNL sites

    what about bandwidth monitor you can try use .actymac.com ProteMac Meter.It;s really nice prog)

    This is not a FREE application and meant for MAC OS.

    seems limited to use with MAC OS systems.. also not a free application.

    Its logical that ISP's do not rely on the data provided by these software. You can use these software to counter check the usage data available in the My Account area of your ISP.
