Hi mates!!!
I don't know whether you know it.
I am a Keralite.
I wanted to share some Hindi songs, which most probably you might not have heard....
Because they are from Malayalam movies. I hope you would like them.
Please be kind to check them out and give your opinion.

1) Try feeling floating on the Jhelum on a wintry night. This Sufi-styled song carries the underlying pangs of those who have been thrown out of Kashmir. Kailash Kher rings in the emotions of those who have to face the mindless and heartless terrorists. Soothing, and disturbing.

It's a really good song.
With this film, Malluwood can now boast of a film that parallels national standards. You can Google to read reviews about it. There's no single negative remark about the film or it's songs. The other songs in this film are also really good. It has one Tamil song, and the others are all Malayalam songs.

2) Kurukshethra is the 2nd part of the above film. It was released just this year.

As the name suggests Kurukshetra is powerful movie portraying the perils of war and focuses mainly on the martyrs who had lost their life in Kargil. The movies underlines the loss of property and life, the two-facedness, gluttony, etc. The movie is a message against war and its loss to mankind.

Initially was a bit sceptical while downloading the so-called hindi songs from malyalam movies.. but trusted dhaneshv.. and beleive me.. the songs have blown me away..

Me personally, I don't understand Hindi very much so
I have no interest in listening to those songs because
in all probability I won't understand most of it.

U know what dhaneshv... i must have listened to the first song frok your posts for an umpteenth number of times today... and i just can't seem to be done with it... i wanna listen to it more and more and more...
kailash kher has brought a wonderful charm to the song... which i just love...

Yep... i do go through threads old and new in details, and didn't really think of replying to any before I came across this thread of yours...

I am from Calcutta, and speak Urdu.. guess that answers your queries..

Can you recommend some more "gems" from malyalam movies... am sure there would be many... as it is, the malyalam language is considered to be one of the sweetest.. i look forward to more such amazing posts from you...
