Slumdog Millionaire has been nominated for 10 oscars in top categories. A.R.Rahman with 3 nominations is a big favourite to win atleast 1. He gets his due global recognition.

it was not possible i think coz the oscar competition is too difficult the other nominations are also there with some guuud points than SDM.....
nd if it wins than it will be too much appreciated by the INDIAN people.....but not that kind of movies made in INDIA......

actully this movie was nominated in 9 catagories but 2 times in music(Song)

how many times u have seen that kind of things happening........have u seen that movie......in the movie a US guy helps the Jamal not clap on him.......nd BTW INDIAN people also claps after watching that movie..........if u want 2 c the real poverty than just have a luuuk on some african countries........

I am actually wondering why films like Mother India,Slumdog and likes which potray dark side of our country are applauded.

Where as Films like Tarre zameen paar don't even find place in nominations.


Wonder, we hype oscars so much, we are a Independent industry. why we need others to judge it.

i got some info bout this movie on todays Dainik bhaskar so i think u should have to take a look onto this..........

some groups in bihar have filed a suit against boyle accusing him of the same..

this is a bit too much..
an rjd worker was recorded as saying that calling slum dwellers a dog is a serious discrimination..and that they will fight against it!!!!

well i guess noone is aware tht zakir hussain won his 2nd grammy.....for his music this year .......i guess it was live on sat nite......
