Rep Power: 7  |  AR Rahman and Sukhwinder at Oscars AR Rahman has always been someone popular and has become even more popular internationally after the release of Slumdog Millionaire. This Mozart of Madras is going even higher, as he has been invited to perform live at the Oscars along with Sukhwinder Singh. The 81st annual Academy Awards night will be held on 22nd February 2009 in Los Angeles and be opened by the song 'Jai ho' in Slumdog Millionaire. Rahman has already begun his preparation and work on the song so that it can adapt to the live orchestra for the performance on the day. It will be something good to watch and im sure as usual he will make the Indian people feel proud of him.  |

Rep Power: 10  | Yes... he has done all of us proud... I don't know what International Jury looks for in songs... Honestly I feel he has composed better tunes than that song "Jai ho"... Maybe international recognition of movie is another factor behind this song getting selected! But I'll be surely watching his performance in the ceromany! |
