    when I was 6 year old , I used to love sitting in the car on the backside with open door. Then oneday I fall from a small bridge on paddy fields. I was not injured. But since then I am not enthusiastic about sitting in the similar positions.

    I am still scratching my head.

    I had thought that reptiles are spineless creatures.
    Now you guys are telling me that reptiles do have spines. I am confused. Just googling it out.

    In animal kingdom up to Cephlochordata(or Acrania) spinal cord is not present but from Vertebrata(or Craniata) spinal cord present that mean if we go developed animal after Vertebrata all have spine.
    Like Vertebrata has divided into two super class i)Agnatha ii) Gnathostomata
    and in this Gnathostomata super-class Fish,Amphibia,Reptilia ,Aves, Mammalia all belongs so all have spine.

    look what have I found....

    So the Lord God said to the serpent:

    "Because you have done this,
    You are cursed more than all cattle,
    And more than every beast of the field;
    On your belly you shall go,
    And you shall eat dust
    All the days of your life.
    And I will put enmity
    Between you and the woman,
    And between your seed and her Seed;
    He shall bruise your head,
    And you shall bruise His heel."

    Earlier I had the notion that any creature that crawls is spineless. Now I think I've got my doubts cleared.
    Thanks Farce, Endless Sky and Priyanka!!!

    Little more
    Actually Chordata has divided into four sub part Hemichordata Urochordata, Cephalochordata and Vertebrata
    Among four only Vertebrata has spine.
    Now why ?
    Because in chordata class animal we find two type of organ one called i)Notochord ii) Nerve cord
    this notochord has developed into spine due to evolution
