    Default Sharda river

yesterday i came back from my tour of Maa Purnagiri distt. Champawat.
Its a very important temple for hindus, and millions of Hindus travel Tanakpur (Nepal border) to visit the temple that is around 8 kms on vertical walk..

i with my local friend and guide managed to complete the distance in 3 hours after taking a taxi for half distance..

This pic is of river Sharda which flows in the adjacent side of the mountain, where is the temple..

as i couldnt take picture of the temple ( as not allowed) i am posting this pic i took from Nepal.. (Nepali market called Brahmdev)
Brahmadev is famous for Siddh Baba mandir, electronic chinese items, silken cloth, cute girls and liquor.

in the way back to home, I came across Nanakmatta Sagar (Nanak Matta dam) .
The dam is situated near Nanakmatta town, a holy site for Sikhs and Hindus..
(Guru Nanak came across this place when he was sighting North India, on his way to Hemkund Sahib)

I am sad that i couldnt visit Nanakmatta this year because of shortage of time.

    Cattle's land near Nanak sagar.

this one is the last up-loadable image dear...

other images are ending up in our sleepy eyes, as we had drinks in Nepal.. (cold drinks )
i think it would be wrong taste to put up images of Haywards 5000 and God father here..

Nepal (Brahmadev bazaar) from Indian side (Tanakpur bridge pathway)...

i also have pics of the Sharda river bridge. (National property, + international border + common threat of drug smuggling + hydel power plant)
otherwise could also have posted its pics too..

In night i was doing chin-chin(flash) and two cops (of the BSF fame) came up and asked if we had taken pic of the bridge.. :|
