My PC started acting crazy a few days ago. It would automatically turn on if I shutdown. I use BIOS RTC to turn my PC on at 2 AM, but it also started behaving crazy, sometimes RTC would turn the PC on at 2AM and sometimes it won't. I cleared the BIOS and even updated it, but to no avail.
Then one fine day there was no problem , all the problems got fixed automatically.

Then again 2 days ago a new problem.

Every time I hibernate my PC, it just wakes up automatically after 3-4 minutes (even some times after 10-15 minutes, no fixed timing). doesn't happen if I shutdown.

I have checked the APM, even disabled it, but still noting. I changed the OS but still nothing. So I figured it out that it is, most probably, a BIOS problem of some kind.

I was using my computer today when suddenly it froze up and when i now start it, all the fans blow at full speed, and the hdd read write light is constantly on, so is the light on the dvd drive, and nothing else happens, nothing displayed onscreen, not even the POST screen.
I started it up again a few minutes back and the same stuff happens, and this time i could smell something weird and shut it off.
All of this did happen after a min of plugging in a pen drive.

My old config was intel 845 gvsr M/B, intel 2.4 Ghz processor and 512 DDR 1 ram. Which is obsolete now a days. so please give some latest configs so no need to upgrade next 2-3 yrs(at least CPU and M/B). and i can easily upgrade my RAM if required.
