the first month: after getting the wrong bill i talked to their customer service. i used to explain to them daily that their billing was wrong. i talked to their cc everyday for a week after the bill was generated for atleast 45 min a day. finally the bill got corrected and i paid the bill.
the second month:this time the billing department did some blunders and my bill was 13000 rupees. i have been talking to everyone from photon but to no use. the bill is still incorrect and mind it i had not crossed the 10 gb limit but the error was that they added the last month data usage to this month also and calculated the bill.
the third month:without paying the bill i kept using their internet and kept requesting them to correct the bill but in vain.this month bill when got updated was also wrong. the data used by me for this month was only 7.5 gb and they showed 9.5 gb data usage.
the fourth month:now the bill of 2nd and 3rd month was due. they didnt corrected the bill and i didnt paid the bill. they cut my connection and still they will be charging me for entire month when the bill will be generated.

The hardware used for Tata Photon+ is the Huawei EC1260 USB 1.1 Modem, and its color is black, along with this hardware a USB cable is also given.

The pros of Tata Photon+ are as follows:
- It gives good signal and it does have its delays which is acceptable when using any mobile broadband connection
- Speed you get is from 200kbps to 1300kbps
- You are able to configure the modem but you must not that this invalidates the warranty
- Overall design of the Tata Photon+ is good
- Tata Photon + has an inbuilt card reader for extended storage
- Supports both Windows and MacOS
- Tata Photon + has a USB which has ROM to set it all up, so no CD's
- Total bandwidth you get is 25GB (15GB for the Rs1500 plan and add on 10GB night plan)


The cons of Tata Photon+ are as follows:
- The customer service is awful
- Technical support is not good and not very helpful
- According to fair usage policy maximum bandwidth usage is 15GB
- No support for Linux or Unix

Tata Photon say that it gives the speed of 2.4Mbps and with the plan which costs Rs1500 you get unlimited internet usage, however past experiences with different connection makes me think this may not be up to its standards and there may be problems!!!!
