i am in need for some help very badly!!! My friend has been using mtnl broadband unlimited plan.now he has got another pc.i wanna know how do i share the net connection on these 2 pcs simultaneously. I have got a switch for it too.plz tell me the step by step procedure for it.the modem is close to one pc.n the other pc is one the floor above that. Plz temme the settings wich i will need to put in the 2nd pc if i connect it in the switch and the other pc directly through modem. Plz help me as sson as poss.

MUMBAI: State-run telecom operator Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Ltd (MTNL) on Wednesday said it has increased the broadband speed up to 384 kbps from the existing 256 kbps under its unlimited broadband tariff plan for its customers in the Mumbai circle.

All MTNL subscribers of 'Unlimited Plan 749' will be eligible for the 384 Kbps at the existing rates, MTNL said in a statement.

MTNL has also extended the timing for free download under its 'Night Unlimited Broadband plan DSL NU 849'.

“Under the plan, between 10 pm and 8 am, users would have access to free unlimited downloads with this plan, MTNL said. Earlier the timing was 11 pm to 7 am.

The monthly CPE (router/modem that is placed at the subscriber's location) service charges are also waived off for all unlimited plans users. - PTI

My WA3002-g1 giving troubles with WiFi. It disconnects my WiFi sometimes (Wireless LED turns off). To detemine the issue, I logged into the router thru IE. Suprisingly, there is no Wireless tab available under the 'Interface Setup'. Only Internet and LAN avail. I turned off the router and back On after a while, then everything seems fine.

I'm ready for a firmware update but dont know where I can get a latest version. Curr. Ver: 2.7.0.31(RUE0.C1)3.5.10.0

This happens frequently, hence I would like to sort out this issue. Someone please help me to get rid of this issue.

JUSTIFICATION FOR not solving the issue at my place since last 2 month.
JUSTIFICATION FOR still making me in trouble almost every day by calling them so many time one their phone and mobile and secretaries...

Still the problem is partially unresolved. I've reached till ED office today. But to no gain, I was suggested to call GM of Kandivali office first. I'd to follow it.

I'm unsure how much time it will still take to completely resolve this issue.

Few days back my laptop got formatted, since then I am not able to connect to internet. Before that it was working fine.

I installed windows XP with service pack 2 on my system
installed all the drivers etc.

I have MTNS's adcl router WA3002-G1 ,

when I open my internet explorer and try to connect to 192.168.1.1

it does not open up.

I have set my connection setting to automatically detect settings.

Tried pressing reset button.

Please help me to configure my internet connection

But for some reasons I am not able to browse the... I recently got MTNL Triband connection and they provided me a TrendChip HG250 wireless modem. But for some reasons I am not able to browse the internet using the wireless capability. The modem never appears in the wireless connection option.

I can browse ok if I am hardwired to the modem. I use a HP Laptop running Windows XP, can someone please let me know what I need to do to be able use wi-fi. BTW I tried to connect through a Macbook using OS X (Leopard) and it detects the wireless modem fine and am able to browse the net fine.

Not sure what configuration settings I need to do on the HP laptop to connect to the net via wi-fi. Any help on this will be highly appreciated.
