I too love flowers and plants and love gardening, its really nice to have a big garden with many different types of flowers, it defiantly makes the whole atmosphere better and the surroundings look pleasant

I am not really into flowers.But i do like having a garden in front of house.It will be comfortable and we can have some fresh air through it.

Flowers are not just given to your girlfriend or wife, but can also be given to a friend, your mum, grand mother, aunt or someones birthday. Also used to make kajra..lol.....for honeymoons, and also used in cosmetics and cooking as gulab jal.
Flowers like mentioned are planted in homes, in parks, and lots of them are seen in embassy's to make the embassy's look nice.

Good one Alexina didn't think of that, yes it is used for hair decoration and also on clothes like itsmemad. Generally roses are worn by the grooms and sometimes bride side to wear on their clothes on the wedding day.
Another way of using flowers is by wearing them as a corsage, generally worn by females on proms and balls.
Flowers Flowers are also used to decorate dead bodies
Ex: Garland a dead body
And also during funerals to sprinkle over the coffin/casket . [I sprinkled some over my granddad's
