Thread: Why do you dress the way you do?

We all seem to want to look good when we go out, I know I do, but have you ever considered who we are doing it for.

Do you think we are doing it to attract the oppostie sex, to make ourselves feel better, or to look better than other people out there?

[Also some times just for the sake of following a particular dress code say on formal occasions .]

when you dress ...dress what you feel would look good on you not what others say to wear

Wear what suits you best not whats in fashion now

I dress the way I do because that is what I like my self to be.

I don't dress just to impress the opposite sex.

I dress the way i do because i feel comfortable in what i wear, i don't dress up for anyone else or to impress someone!

same here... even i never dress to impress anyone and i am a kind of person who never takes more than 3 mins to pick a pair or shoes or to pick a jeans or to pick a shirt...
last time i went for shopping and pick up 3 shirts and a pair of shoes just in less than 10 mins (may be thats a record but its true)

But when it comes to shopping i am fussy and it takes me a lot of time to decide on something, unless its something i like instantly, otherwise i go around all the shops then decide what to get!

Well.. no wonder in that... All girls wanna have a lot of choice to choose from... and many times in the end they don't buy anything at all... why is that? I don't mind going in 10 jewellery stores with a friend for her shopping... but it irritates & dissapoints me a lot when she doesn't like anything anywhere...

Thanks coz we set some standards for ourselves and dont see a reason to compromise on it. Simple

I never thought it this way... I always believed that girls are very confused when it comes to shopping... Now I must always go to shopping with a girl... To maintain a certain standard which they only know...

ok but if she takes you all around town(and the next town too) and finally doesnt let you buy nythin, coz nothin was good enough, then dont blame me eh.

So thats the catch... I would rather stick with my own instincts then...

itsmemad don't go for shopping with any girl mate, trust me girls are not good in shopping at all and moreover they just like to kill the time while shopping. I mean the same thing

yea i agree a lot of girls gng to soo many shops n than jus say i didnt like nything...n we ll go bak whr i liked sumthing else....!!!! its better off to buy whteva u like ....whereva u find it...jus buy it...!!!! I atleast do so....doesnt really matter much .....!!!

as such i hate gng shopping for hours ....... normally i kno whr n wht i want so jus go strght away to the shop......

It takes time to choose good things! Not any old crap does it!

If your shopping from your local place then its ok you know the shops, but when it comes to shopping in new places you have to look around, as i hate it when i don't look around and after see that there was a better option!

Rather waste some time not money!

obviously....one kno;s whts in fashion n wht looks good on em....!!!! it really doesnt matter whr i m shoppin but it shud b sumthing i like n wud love to wear....be it a casual formal or party wear!
yes but i make sure that i try whteva i m buying......

i ve a different thing.....Waste a lil more money will do....not time....Times more precious....!!!!!

for me shopping is smothing which never takes more thn 10 mins, no matter if i am busy with outfits or accessories
can make it in less thn 10mins
