watches are like a major fashion statement.
and many people do make character judgments on others based on their watch.

How important would you say the style and brand is to you?
which is your fav brand and which do you use?

I do not own fancy watches (as yet). To me, it is important. My dream watch is Omega.

p/s. A few years ago I debated between a $330 Mont Blanc pen and $480 Omega. Ultimately settled for the Mont Blanc.

well i recently got tag heuer watch... i got it as a gift... i love watches.. ofcourse.. i will go for brand.. not fashion...

I don't use a watch either. Cell phone is good enough for that.

Well i do like watches but not a particular fan of them, but yes they do look good depending on the dress your wearing!

I don't think you have to wear an expensive and branded watch in order for it to look good (i know i don't buy any particular brand), it can be any brand, any style! Its not necessary that an expensive watch will only look good, you can buy a Rs500 watch and it will look as good.

Because a watch is very small and sometimes does not get noticed by others its also a personal thing, so its what you like, how comfortable you feel wearing it and the point of you being able to see the time!

lol... I can't live without my watch... I wear it 24*7... even while sleeping... Its just a bad habit to look for time... I'm not brand conscious as well... I used to wear a fast-track watch for yrs... Changed it only when somebody gifted me a Cartier from Europe... And b'lieve me... I don't give a damn about it... Like I said... Its on my wrist 24*7... Perhaps its the most used gift by me ever...

Well its not a bad habit to look at time, from your habit it means your probably very organized and plan your things in a day and ahead.
Do you wear your watch while you have a shower..........if no then maybe you should consider getting a waterproof watch!

Well... I'm not as organized as I might sound... But yeah... I plan a lot... Just wish to implement them more frequently than what I'm doing at present...

lol... No... At the time of writing my previous post... I thought to mention that I don't wear watch while taking bath... But ignored it, assuming every1 would know that... neways, I don't wear anything while taking bath... :laugh:

cool one ... ... i generally do prefer gold-plated watches . though i own a fast-track also.

I like Over Square Shaped watched, and just hate those gold plated round dial ones.

they seem to from prehistoric times

No offence but gold plated watches really look like uncle type.
