Exclamation Forgetting Is Harder Than Remembering

First of all, sorry for any mistakes in the article. I didn't have much time to write it. So, it may seem a bit weird. Please forgive.

We usually hear many people saying that they are very bad at remembering things. They usually feel very bad about it. You might have also heard some people saying that they can’t forget some bad memories which they do not want to keep in their minds, because it haunted them so much.

Actually, which power is more important for a human being?
Is it the power to remember everything, or, is it the power to forget what we want?
Most of us had come all this way in our life, thinking that a person with the power to remember everything is the one who is really gifted. But, some recent studies by some scientists tell that it is not so. The group of scientists after a long research and analysis on this topic has finally concluded that a person gifted with the power of forgetting is more gifted than a person with the power to remember everything.

They say that it is not impossible for an ordinary man to develop a good memory power, while it is not so easy to forget something. When we try to forget something, it actually gets deeper into our mind and spread its roots in our mind, thus making us to remember it more often than usual. But, the persons who are naturally gifted with the power of forgetting actually forget things easily than anyone else, without their own knowledge.

If what I think is correct, then, most of us had always wanted to get a good remembering power. Surely, there were people who wanted the forgetting power, and obviously didn’t have it.

While the power to remember remains as something important in our lives, the power of forgetting has value more than the other. As the nature always plays tricks on us, those who wanted remembering power are given the power to forget, while those who wanted forgetting power are given the power to remember.

And finally, we come to what the scientists said.
    “Forgetting is harder than remembering.”

But I forget almost everything, it has become a much bigger issue lately. I always have had problems with remembering stuff, which didnt seem very very interesting to me. Now, it has become worse.

Actually, why would you want to remember about something which you are not interested in?

Forgetting it would only free up more space in your mind....

Had come across this article some months back. Seems fit to be posted over here.

It is about a woman who seems to remember everything since she was 14. Now she is 42.

Read about her : The woman who can remember everything - Telegraph

I don't think that the woman's case was the only one. There were many such cases which had created waves.
