Branded any day bcoz of their quality!!


I know the TS has highlighted the word "quality" even in non-branded jeans but I never found such jeans!! Maybe they are not available in my city!!


At current prices I would not pay more than 2000 RS for a branded jean!!

decided not to reveal my city!! as you cant be safe in this big bad world of Google!

Personally, I am not choosy about branded jeans (or clothes in general) as I feel well-known companies set too high a price for them in exchange for fabrics which are as good as unbranded ones. Branded jeans for sure are stylish , but I do not think twice before buying unbranded ones as long as the quality of the fabric is good.

Besides, you have a wider choice in buying unbranded clothes & I don't approve of the fact that teenagers are 'in' only if they are clad in branded jeans. It only reduces them to the status of 'fashion victims' since they all wear standardised clothes, hence allowing little scope for them to be dressed according to their individual choices & undermining their individuality.

I think the discussion should be extended to branded clothes in general rather than being confined to jeans only

But in other brands(Pepe, Spkkar, Levis) you can get it for 1000-1500 (After discount obviously), Not a bad deal

its de season.......in Ahmedabad every damn shopping place ....has got Boards n Hoardings saying SALE......its de festive season .... but there r some other reasons too as well!

well there a 70% off & a end of season clearance sale @ TH..... n M & S.....

GAS & PEPE too has good collection this year......

Levi's ...... the all time favvv.. costs ---1500- 10000 rs

Canvas ......
Only Levi's ... costs -- 1200 - 1600 ...(Blue n rough brown)
OR ......Ed-Hardy .... costs -- 2000 - 3500 .... (mixed tattoo ...)

If Sports
........ go for flat bottom ----(white/blue/red)

Actually there are also some good jeans which are being manufactured by good local indian manufacturers, same applies to shoes, belts.

I have bought jeans for 250 bucks and they have lasted me much more, than expected,

I have bought one pair of shoes at roadside sale stall for 200 bucks in nov 2007 and im using it even till today,

bought a belt for 90 rs after bargaining on road and its since 3 yrs m still using it, depends on the place where u buy, and look before buying ask the shopkeeper for advice and it will help you a lot. I have seen belts , shoes at malls having exhorbitant prices.

But truth is once i bought bare denim, jeans @ 450 bucks @ discount price from Mega mart, but it was found damaged, anyways feeeling was good, and fitting was good, but come what many roadside jeans will keep on rocking
