@ vikramjb - im not saying branded jeans are bad or its not good to buy them, but i dont think its right to buy them to show off ot for the sake that's it just branded!

I agree with you on some level. Just buying branded ones even if they are
uncomfortable is not something I would do. But I wouldn't judge people
who do it. Hey it is their money and their right to spend it. If they feel
good about wearing brand name clothes then more power to them.
In the end that's what matters.

But a lot of time a good brand name will be of higher quality and
durability. My Brooks Brothers, Levi's and LLBean jeans last longer
than no-brand jeans.

I prefer branded Jeans just for the sake of saving time in finding out a perfect non-branded Jeans! As I hate window shopping...

But I don't wear them to show-off... My belt is always on top of the brand tag...

2. check out and comment on how fat they have become

yes preeti agreed....but ppl in India i guess dont experiment much .....i wud definately prefer a comfortable denim n wud definately try em on no matter wht brand it is....! i wud neva buy a denim w/o checking the fit....!

most of the brands which we wear like levis, lee, next, .... thy r the best in their work n tht is y ppl prefer em over rest of the brands....but my take is always try em n than buy it...after all u jus dont wanna keep these denims @ home in ur cupboard....!!!

i second that. very true. always try before you buy. last year i bought a peter england jean without trying - from a sale ... i havent even used it once ... and dont even feel like using it in future also .. i just didnt like it after bringing to home ..
