I never go to MacDonalds in India. In the last 5-6 years, I may have gone there 3 or 4 times.

No. No. I do not even go for the drive thru or take aways.

My personal opinion is burgers are meant to have beef patties. If it is Alu-Tikki that I want, I will rather eat a Wada-Pav (Rs. 5) on the road side with a plate of Kaanda Bhajiya (Rs. 8) and Chaai (Rs. 4). Hence I find no inclination to visit.

Lol... those wada-pavs used to be my staple diet when I had to take quick breakfast before going to college... but that didn't stopped me & my friends to go at nearby mc donalds either... we used to sit, study, chat, watch matches, & feel the ambience & energy of young crowd in there for hours... And yes, french-fries there are good... but the best french-fries I had in Pune was at a lounge in Bavdhan "Apache"... nothing better than it to have with beers...

What is an alu-tikki after all? A high-end / high cost, batata wada.

Wada Pav is a speciallity in Maharashtra. I am not sure whether you get it in A'bad. I stayed 8 years at Porbandar and never saw any Wada-Pav there. But things may be changing. You tell me.
