Raw eggs are dangerous to eat. Despite the macho image they seem to bestow on the eater, they have certain bacteria which sure can make humans sick.......and the lousy taste. Besides they do not make you any more healthier than cooked eggs.

The best omlete I ate in my life was made at the eatery adjacent to the first petrol pump on the right of the road after crossing the begum bridge in Meerut when going to Dehradun. This was in the 1977-78.
He had a tallish vessel (as compared to flat one) in which he broke the two eggs added salt to taste and using spring wip he wipped the eggs till the egg frothed to the top of the vessel. Now the whole mixture was emptied into the frying pan and using a flat spoon bent at right angles at the botton he cooked the frothiest, fluffest and most delicious omeletes. Try beating your eggs in a broad tumbler and see the difference.

I do not know if the eatry is still there

Wok makes a lot of difference. It is very thing and has to be cooked on high flame but just so that veggies dont get burnt you hav to stir it continuously. Thats why its also called stirfry.

    You are most welcome.

p/s. Some threads should never die. They should be bumped up once in a while. I am not saying this, because this is my thread.

Oooo! Never tried Omlette in a WOK. It thought it was more suited for scrambled eggs.
