Default What food you would never eat?

I love food, so my mom was happy cooking for me as a child as I ate broccoli,
vegtables and all. However, I know almost everybody has that food that they would never eat.. what is the disgusting food you do not like?

Well i was so eager to try Sushi for so long, and tried it something like 6 years ago and since then haven't eaten it!

The taste of Shushi was yuk, it may look healthy and all, but i would never ever eat it again!

Sushi is Japneese and generally cold fish and rice I had it Picadily train station in London as I was waiting for a train and that was it for me really never again

And the fish is raw... Yeh RAW as in uncooked kachi fish. There are some dishes whcih have cooked fish but its sort of mimal cooking involved. They use vinegar and rice wine in most of sushi dishes.

Its worth a try you might actually like it... everyone has a different taste

If you go outside of India you will find that there are many people who are non veg and in many countries there is so much of meat eaten its unbelievable, there is just so much. For example i cant remember which country think it was either Hong Kong, Japan not sure but they service things like many different animal parts, like dogs insides, snakes and a lot more. Its quite sickening!

I used to absolutely hate raisins and if ever i got one in my mouth from eating a dish i used to spit it out. But recently its been about 2 weeks since i have started eating them.

The reason i never used to like them because i tasted them first when they were put in food, which makes them taste a bit horrible and sluggish, but when i tasted them on their own i liked them. I'm glad i tasted them on their own as i would never have liked raisins for the the rest of my life. This is a key to try things out and don't judge food that you have just tasted once, try it in different ways and methods of cooking and eating.

My cousin bro who was working in Hongkong few yrs back... Was having dinner at one nice hotel... He ordered a dish thinking that it is chicken...cuz of language problem in there with the waiter, he cudn't communicate properly... And he ate the hot dish after it was served... he liked it very much... it was too soft and tenderly cooked... next day, at his office when he recited the name of that dish to his chinky colleagues... He came to know that it was a yummy frog he had... ...

But this incident changed his view... Now he wants to try every new damn thing on the earth... He married... His wife was a veggie by birth... but with him in Hongkong, she also ate weird things like snakes n all... Bhaiya says that in Hongkong there isn't much option for veggies... I don't know if he was kidding or serious... but now, they r in Dubai.... And bhaabhi has turned back veggie again...

btw, 1 more story... one of my friend from Assam... used to kill dogs on the streets with his friends... they used to cook it and eat... he said that the tail is the best part... U might have seen it in discovery channel...

Being a dog-lover and owner... I never felt same for him after that day...

Sushi is something very difficult to like especially for us Indians who like to eat well cooked (over cooked?) food brimming with spices. But many foreigners (from the Western World) too find sushi unpalatable.

I tried sushi three four times. I did not go for the exoctic ones such as some molluscs, oyesters, etc. The rest was OK but it is not something I will have as a choice.

As farce said, it is an acquired taste. Perhaps. Sushi is not something that I will never eat again but it will take me quite long to acquire this taste.

I remember that the first time I ate cheese, I was quite revolted. Same with Guiness Beer. Now I have Guiness Beer as a first choice in an English/Irish Pub. But for sushi, I am not sure.

I am, to some extent, enterprising with food and always like to try out something at least one time.

A common thing heard from people who have tasted something other than the usual chicken, lamb, pork, always say that the non veg dish they had tastes like chicken. I have heard a lot of people mentions things like frogs, snake and say that its tastes like chicken!

They can eat anything... U know I've a mail which if u see u'll probably faint... It shows that Japenese doctors preserve newly born dead babies very neatly... Then those babies are sold at supermarkets like canned food... There were more pics... which showed how people cook whole babies at home... and how they eat them... Most disgusting thing I've seen in my life... If u want I can PM it to you...
