[Only on the mornings, I rise early... else skip it] I prefer Bread-Jam-butter-cheese-eggs for breakfast... sometimes maggie too... A mug of milk or coffee is almost certain to complement it... Don't like tea!

If I go out for breakfast then 8 out of 10 times, I go for south-indian dishes like Dosa, Idli, Vada-sambhar, uthappa etc... Sometimes I like to eat poha too...

Arrey bhai... South Indian food is very popular in Patna... People frequent south-indian joints/restaurants with their family regularly... They cook it at home too... Normal bihari food is not very spicy & oily... I think that corresponds with south-indian food... so we biharis have a natural liking for southy food...

My taste for south-indian food developed cuz when I was a child my family hired a cook who was a Kannad... And he used to cook amazing dosas-idlis-sambhar-chutney for us...

P.S.- BTW, I went out for breakfast today and had yummy Dosa...

Indeed, the south INdian food is one of the best (Though i don't like it often) but being a very light food with less oily stuff its really good for your health

South indian food like idlis and dosas are great for breakfast as they are light. Continental breakfast is great too but not very tasty. But i love parathas for breakfast. Keep u filled till lunch.

According to the thread starter, we can post what you have, whether you have the same breakfast everyday or different breakfasts each day

Pranthas are bad for health but i suppose they are ok when you have them once in a while, for the past three weeks i have been having them breakfast and they are good to fill you up for a couple of hours like 5 or 6 hours!

But once you stop eating them, then no matter what you have for breakfast it wont be as filling! Ive stopped having them now!

Yes,there's no food as filling as paranthas.Have them with curd and they won't be so big on stomach.
