Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! It looks soooo delicious. Can you name all those things in the photo? I have just eaten my lunch but I am now feeling hungry.
sure the long while roll is a sweet meat knowwn as til pitha, the brown one is known as ghila pitha another sweet meet or rice cake though fried, then the white stuff with brownish touch is aakhoi and dahi and below dahi its kumol chawal or soft rice its called soft rice cos its an instant breakfast its a rice where you just need to add water and it becomes eatable u need not cook it

has anyone tried cilantro chutney baked/toasted with bread ? one of my favorites.
Make coconut chutney first, grind coconut, red/green chillies, salt.
Garnish it with mustard and curry leaves.
then put it in between two slices of bread. Put some butter
on the 'outer' surfaces of the sandwich and put on a tava
for a few minutes on each side till they become slightly golden
(this is the key to the sandwich). enjoy.

p.s follow the k.i.s.s principle, don't put anything else like
the link rlove provided, no cheese, no lettuce,
no tomato, no ranch dressing etc....
I love coconut chutney with dosa and parathas, this is the first time I have heard that it can be used as a sandwich filling.
Actually putting things like carrots, capsicum, tomatoes or lettuce will dilute the chutney's flavour.
Thanks for the tip.
Ok will definitely try this.![]()
