Ah! Player. This is another substitute for your excelllent breakfast scheme (http://www.indiabroadband.net/food/1...te-nashta.html (The Ultimate Nashta!!))
Yes. Very similar to dimsum's but filling is different - more suited for Indian style.
Unfortunately, momo's have not made much headway south of Delhi. I first tasted them an the mall at Vasant Vihar.

I've never heard of these momos its totally new to me looks like i have to stay in Delhi for a while to eat these goodies
Are momos different types and shapes? Wonton is one kind of chinese
dumpling which is boiled or fried and put in soup or eaten with sauce.
Dimsum encompasses a whole array of snack like foods with
different shapes and sizes. Some of which are Shumai, haigow,
pork bun, chicken feet, sticky rice etc. etc. etc. These typically
are steamed in a bamboo steamer and eaten right out of it. Some
are fried or grilled.

Not sure to be honest!
But anyway for those who have not tasted momos, you can make them at home too, i don't know the exact ingredients but they do taste good at home and the best thing you know whats in them and they are made hygienically!
But its a good idea to know, what its supposed to taste like before trying it urself na?
Well atleast i dont dare try making something i have never tasted
I first tasted momos at Delhi Haat... Since then I'm in love with momos...
In Pune I regularly eat momos at a place near Gokhale Nagar... (Not able to recall the name of the shop or the crossing's/chawk's name too, will update later).. They provide veg, chicken & mutton momos with 3 different sauces which are just amazing...
And I love steamed version as much as the fried ones...![]()
In bangalore, there is Mainland China , which is the best place to have momos.
guys i heard that momo is costly in Bangluru is that true??
