Thread: favorate homemade khana?

    A thread about food and I missed it....how bad!!!!!!

    Well my favourite homemade khana is everything really made at home, because its home made! But to be specific i would say prantha's, gajar halwa, any kadi with chawal.

    we ve something similar tht u get.....i am not a sweets freak but my mom got something like this yest. from a sweet shop....dunno the name.....shall check n let u kno

    If I am not mistaken then that:

    is "Magas", that is what we call it in Gujarati.

    Made from chickpea flour (chane ka atta), ghee and sugar.

    No, I am not talking about that, the thing in pic may look like Magas(as you are describing) but I searched that pic with "Aata Pinni", made with flour mixed with sugar/bura, desi ghee and dryfruits.

    my favourite home made khana is momo mandarin and thai manchurian, paneer tikkas, chilly chicken with vdka(hey i love this spoiler), fried chilly fish with vdka, biryani masala, mughlai paratha, chiken, mutton , nan-al-afgani and missi roti with sorts of above thingies...and also some vdka to add...




    and offhome food is dal chawal, paneer, kofta(sorts of), gajar ka halwa, rajma chwal,

    can you tell me which flour? is it wheat flour or besan?

    What you are describing is a laddoo type sweet...but something different.

    could be. We normally prepar it @ home, but i have seen it as pinni @sweet shops

    What is Nan-al-afghani? It sounds very interesting.
