i totally agree.....i even love the new fast food junks thy ve introduced ....

did u try the frankies out there.....obviously wont beat the sheeba frankies but thy r equally good!

loved the limited menu set @ Zen Cafe.... as well.....tried everyhting than chai there...lolz

Frankies of havmor?? No I havn't. If they are offering it, I have to try for sure.
But I love their Jumbo grilled sandwich and Hotdogs.

Anyway about new restaurants:
1) Have you been to Bon homie, near Drive in besides Sangathan Society?
2) Have you been to Gopi near Gota chokdi?
3) Have you been to Kesar foods near Vastrapur lake?

Please answer.

been to bon homie already.....was okie....i found papperazzi to b a better one....specially the menu layout....vent tried the north indian there.....

Waterside.....is equally good too....!

well somewhr around vastrapur....there is a place called parathas or something...dunno the exact location but my fren recently got the parathas from there n was really nice......yummm.....!

try it out.......havmor frankies thy surely r good n filling too!

neva tried hotdog there.....

i wish CTF shud start again @ centre point...

I like bon homie because they use technology. Yeah a restaurant using the latest tech is a big + factor. Apart from that the food and service were top notch.

where is "waterside"?...I have heard about it but don't know where it is.

The paratha house is called jalaram parotha house. Yeah its good.

Kesar foods is located opp TGB vastrapur. If you like Palak paneer, it is the place to be. It is a regular small north indian type restaurants, but the food is better than Bawarchi or other high end places.

All the restaurants near the lake serve very good quality but cheap food. The area has so many restaurants...its amazing! Yesterday I ate a gujarati thali from a place called Manoranjan...better than pakwan or atithi.

Gopi is located near gota chokdi. If you like Dal bati you have to try it there...its highway dhaba type joint, great place to hang with a large group of friends.

well for a fact i hate food @ bawarchi since last 6-8 months......as such the reviews r pretty bad .....infact i would love to go to shocolatery nyday...!!!

ummm i am not a major fan of gujarati thalis....as such i usually ve tiffin @ home n dinners r mostly @ home though neva full thalis' kinds...once in a way its ok....

no i m not talking about jalaram paratha house......the place is called PARATHAs only....

Waterside is on the Ahd Gandhinagar Highway jus after the narmada canal bridge.....if u remem tht place was almost like a haunted house 8 mths back ......n was famous for it....

oops no dal bati for me......but i love rajasthani food like gattey ki sabzi n all....

I went to Bawarchi near prahlad nagar garden...a year ago..They food was yuck!

I would rather eat at a dhaba than eat at bawarchi again.

I have seen chocolatery...sadly I haven't had the chance to go their yet.

oh mate .....shocolatery is one place u missing !!!!!

awesome.....food ......its like those small cafe's serving creoles, crepes n all......pretty nice n......the desserts.....!!!!!

This makes me want to visit Ahmadabad, the food sounds really yum.

I know from another thread where i think Aashaka mentioned that there is a place where you can get over 50 different types of dishes/snacks made from egg. But whats this Fried Icecream??????????
