Absolutely not

Gypsy is a favourite of mine. Sometime ago there used to be a restaurant called Only Fish at Mahim; no idea if it still exists. And there is another good Chinese restaurant called Flora at Worli.

All these fancy restaurants and even fancier menu items are fine. But to enjoy amchi Mumbai, you must eat on the roadside:

a) Pav Bhaji at Byculla
b) Wada Pav at any place
c) Sandwiches at Nariman Point thella's
d) Frankies at Shivaji Park
e) Garama-garam bhajiya's on a wet monsoon day at the chowpaty

Well never heard Only Fish, but my friend do praise Flora.

When i wasn't in mumbai i heard that Juhu's Pav Bhaji is best, but that's not true, They make those Pav Bhaji in so hurry that it loses it's taste... Also apart from Wada Pav, Samosa Pav is quite famous and tasty here .. Frankies remind me of one lokhandwala's Roll house, That is real treat, And bhajiya is everywhere

ummmm Flora neva been there but wanna go there......i usually end up for chinese @ china gate or china garden.....

last to last time i visited a place .....arnd in btwn bandra n santacruz....m not able to recollect the place.....but its a very nice place....wid an open to air sitting n lovely food....!!!!!

vada pav - i jus hate em in mumbai.......in deir own style....but i kind of liked em @ andheri station......

i wud also suggest bbq nation......love de food der n de drinks as well......its der both @ mumbai n ahd....

Wada-Pav and Mumbai(Maharashtra) are synonyms aaka... Without wada-pav it's like Gujraat without DHOKLA

And what's bbq nation?? Where is it?

Also just opposite of Heera-Panna there's restaurant called "Noorani Cafe", Amazing Food specially non-veg and sweets...Yummyyyyyy

Found this cool place called "Firangi Dhabha" in andheri west, Amazing food and real good ambience.. Pune people must've been know "Bashos", "Carnival", "River View" restro in Koregoan Park, Firangi Dhabha is something like that only...

Infact, I prefer the mumbai vada pav as compared to the gujarati version and the south version "alu bonda" , which is less spicy.
