    Default McDonalds's Breakfast

McDonald's in India have now started a breakfast menu, but this has only started in a few restaurants from 1st December 2008 in the country which include three in Delhi and five in Mumbai. Breakfast will be available from 7am till 11am.
The reason why it has only opened in a few restaurants only is because of test marketing is being carried out till the end of May.

    The breakfast menu consists of:
    Hash browns - Rs20
    Cuppa Corn - Rs20
    Veggie McMuffin - Rs35
    Egg & Cheese McMuffin - Rs35
    Spinach & Corn McMuffin - Rs40
    Sausage McMuffin - Rs45
Egg McMuffin with Chicken Salami - Rs55
Sausage McMuffin with Egg - Rs55
Hot Cakes with Maple Syrup and Butter - Rs55

and also a vegetarian breakfast platter and a non-vegetarian platter.

No one tasted the Mc D's breakfast then?

As far as I know, a "muffin" is kind of a cake similar to mava cake. How can they have spinach muffins and Egg muffins? Do they mean pastys ?

    There are two kinds

muffins are cup shaped and are usually sweet.

then there the English muffin which is like a bun and is
sometimes salty or sour. This is what is used in the fast food joints.

Funnily, when I was abroad, McDonalds was a big no no. Over there middle class people usually don't eat at McDonalds as it is considered too downmarket. It is the american and european equivalent of eating a "vada pav" at a roadside stall. Only rednecks and woring class people eat there (and some of them look really scary) and the smell and hygeine at some of these outlets makes you puke. Incontrast, Mcdonalds in India is still an upmarket thing.

Default im longing for chicken Mcnuggets.

its true that mcnuggets are extremly yummy, apt for its value and its ruling the food charts. But i recently went to Mc Donalds to get myself the large portion of Mcnuggets only to find that they are running out of stock. They just got introduced and now they are even out of the stock. I had thou quiet assumed its popularity and likeability when i had noticed at Mc that it was all over on the tables. Im hoping that they are available soon as i'm longing for it.

Can't believe that it will be unhygienic in west as they are checked for it & their license will be revoked if they are not providing the quality.

It's not a question of upper or lower class, it is mostly a question
of whether you want to eat junk food or not. Even Bill Clinton
used to eat at Burger King after his jog. Subway isn't bad
you can get healthy stuff there.

And all these fast food places are clean, perhaps cleaner
    than the regular restaurants ;-)
