Default My method of preparing tea

I am sorry to say that the way tea is made at dhabas, corner shops and at most homes is not to my liking. Most of you will not agree with me but I am like what I am. The correct way of making tea is as follows:

    1. Boil water, 3/4th cup per person.
    2. Once the water starts boiling shut off flame and add 1 teaspoon of tea leaves per cup.
    3. Keep covered for 3 minutes and let the tea flavour mix in.
    4. Too much tea or boiling water with tea or excess decantation will make the tea too strong.
    5. Never add sugar. And this advice is not for diabetics alone. Sugar kills the tea flavour.
    6. Never add milk to tea vessel directly. Filter/pour tea in cups and then add milk to make it brown.
    7. Enjoy the tea flavour and not a concoction called tea.

p/s. I expect a lot of protests on this.

    Perfect !!:14:

Prefer Pot tea over tea with pre mixed milk....
There's a difference in taste if we compare Sugar to Sugar Cubes too..
    Anyone knows why ??

And which brand of tea has best Flavours ??

Most Indian Teas are more or less similar in flavour. We buy the standard Brooke Bond Red Label. Taj is also good.

But if you really like some classy tea, Earl Gray is good (and expensive). But it is very light and may not be to your liking.

BTW, I expected stones, bricks, sade ande, tamatar, gajar, kakadi, etc. on this article.

An easier method of a similar way of making tea like this is boil water add it to your cup then add the cup tea bags, wait for 1 minute or 2 depending on how strong you want your tea, then add milk. This is also known as English tea and yes it does taste good, but i think once in a while the Indian way of making tea is good too (which is the normal way)

Green tea is what helps you to slim down, it doesn't taste very good though, although many people like it.

and what do you thing about coffee, i like tea but i make it in a very different manner, there are 3 types of tea which i like to have (sometimes only)

    1. Road Side Chaai
    2. This is the one i make at home, boil a cup of water with tea, elyichi and chaai masala then after boiling it add one cube of sugar and have it
    3. The other tea which i like is lemon tea, very simple to make
just boil a cup of water and then put lemon tea bag in cup for 3 mins... dip dip dip
add sugar half spoon (if needed)
    its ready

Oh yes ginger tea, but it think i only like drinking ginger tea in the winters, and obviously made the traditional Indian way.

I like drinking lemon ice tea in the summers, I haven't really tried hot lemon tea, but then i don't like tea without milk, so thats why i always give it a miss.
Seeing that you like it smoothvibes whats it like?

I hope you mean a "pinch of ginger and cardamom" and not a "pint".

All the tradition masala tea is very good to have, which includes cardamom, cloves, ginger (or ground ginger), and many other things but i don't know the name of them. There is this special thing which was given to me by someone who brought it from Hazoor Sahib and it tastes very good in tea.
