The Bollywood Industry is now spreading its wings to design mobile games. The popular Bollywood films are all being converted to computer games or mobile games. The first attempt was made out of ‘Sholay’ which set a new record of almost 150,000 downloads of games on GSM operators and on CDMA phones almost 800,000 downloads. Movies and music has always been attracting Indian citizens since ages. Almost 60 movies have been converted to mobile games. They include the hit movies like ‘Rang De Basanti’, ‘Sarkar’. It is not only Bollywood movies being converted to games, the Hollywood hits like ‘King Kong’, ‘Star Wars’ and ‘The Incredibles’ have earlier itself been converted to games meant for computers. These computer games always serve as an extension to the brand.
