    Arrow solve it!!!If u can####

There are 5 houses in 5 different colors. In each house lives a person with a different nationality. The 5 owners drink a certain type of beverage, smoke a certain brand of cigar, and keep a certain pet. No owners have the same pet, smoke the same brand of cigar, or drink the same beverage.

The question is: Who owns the fish?

    Hints:

    * The Brit lives in the red house.
    * The Swede keeps dogs as pets.
    * The Dane drinks tea.
    * The green house is on the left of the white house.
    * The green homeowner drinks coffee.
    * The person who smokes Pall Mall rears birds.
    * The owner of the yellow house smokes Dunhill.
    * The man living in the center house drinks milk.
    * The Norwegian lives in the first house.
    * The man who smokes Blend lives next to the one who keeps cats.
    * The man who keeps the horse lives next to the man who smokes Dunhill.
    * The owner who smokes Bluemaster drinks beer.
    * The German smokes prince.
    * The Norwegian lives next to the blue house.
    * The man who smokes Blend has a neighbor who drinks water.

Einstein wrote this riddle early during the 19th century. He said 98% of the world could not solve it. Its not hard, you just need to pay attention and be patient.

By the way there is nothing good about being one of those 2% .... coz 98% of those 2% are dyslexic and Einstien himself was one of them

This was a good question by the way ... made me close my eyes for 5 mins to get some concentration ... A pretty hard one to solve actually ... I would take atleast an hour to create that table on my own if I had to do it myself.... its one messed up riddle.

    Any more like this one?

I will take some time out and write it up for you ... it would take me half an hour or so to write down every step ..

I assumed that they were all living in a row and it doesnt matter if you start from left to right or right to left .. the answer in the end came to fish both ways.

Btw, Einstein was born in 1879... Therez no way he could have written this riddle in early 19th century... It must be either in late 19th century, when he was in teens.. or early 20th century... when he started to amaze the world by his brilliance... anyway, nice riddle...

Why not the German in the fifth house?

Well, I've found the fish in German's house that is the last house in this series. Think of it. Doesn't it make sense?

No thats not right... German can either be in the 4th or the second house... not the fifth house.

No it does not make sense. What brought you to this conclusion?

Well, I put the German's house as the last house (left to White house that is on the fourth in the series) and it did fulfill all the conditions.

First of all, assume that you are standing in front of 5 houses (that were described in the first post). A man is standing towards you in each house. So the following point means....

    * The green house is on the left of the white house.

Left hand side of the person standing in front of white house. So put the green house on the left hand side of the person who's standing in front of the white house.

Now, let me show my solution,

    Cigar:--Dunhill---Blend---PallMall---Bluemaster---Prince
    Drink:--Water---Tea-----Milk------Beer---------Coffee
    Pet:----Cats----Horse---Birds-----Dogs---------FISH
    Color:--Yellow---Blue----Red------White--------Green
    Nat:--- Norway--Dane---Brit------Swede-------German

    Any contradictions Adminji?
