Default Citibank unable to process a transaction for 8 days now

Hey there guys... it seems whatever service or thing i use has a personal vendetta against me

I purchased an item worth Rs2099 off ebay.in last sunday.... To my dismay the online bank transfer was not available for abn amro bank so i was forced to use the citibank credit card i have... i thought ok so it will take 1 or 2 more days for the shipment...

BUT its today and still bloody citibank have not been able to process the transaction... Its been 8 damn days! The transaction only reflects in the available credit limit... I emailed them through the account itself and they say they will take 4 f***in days just to respond to it!!

Can any1 tell me what shud i do now?

Are citibank falling apart, that they can't even give two thousand rupees in credit?

    EDIT:
So i just talked to citibank and they say they approved the transaction on the 5th itself... and ebay has not claimed the amount from them... now what...

EDIT2: Talked to ebay again... and they're now askin me to check the status of the transaction again in half an hour!!

They cudn't process the amount for 8 days, now they say they'll do it in 30mins!! LMAO!! I think everything in India is managed by dumbos...

EDIT3: They finally said that due to technical problems we will not be able to process the transaction (at long last ) And asked me to try another way of payment....

Now i chose fund transfer from my account to the seller's account... Which i think is completely unsafe btw as ebay is not involved...

The seller does have a good repo there (over 423 votes), since our banks are different (his is icici n my abn amro) so it takes some time and the funds weren't transferred till 2 or 3 hrs, i don't know the latest tho....

So now no more just reading people, my question is have i just dropped the ball transferring funds like that?? Do people get duped there?? I am feeling quite unsafe as i have never bought things like this...
