Now we can recall names easily... btw, anyone remember we used to see a dubbed english serial in which there was a Bike rider(hidden under black helmet & driving gear)?? his bike was very fast & used to have nitrous... and he was fighting against crime I guess...

Guess no one remember 'Metro' channel. :sad:

U r absolutely right gemi... I liked the walking style of Taara... And that Shakti had some kind of computer chips embedded on his cheeks... ah.. 20 yrs have passed... U have made me feel like it was just 20 days back...

Reminds me of Andromeda series in AXN.

I am also having the same feelings.I wish I could see the serial again.Is it available anywhere on net?....

I recall the following points :

1.There was a commander from Earth, who always used to be furious with Taara and his team .

2.The villain had two associates.One of them was a lady.All three had alien kind of faces.

3.In of the later episodes, Taara and Shakti have to visit the Planet earth.They got surprised to see the lack of advancement at the technology front.One lady asks Shakti to light the gas stove with match box.But he doesn't know how to do it.At the end he does it with his electric gadget.

Looking forward to watch it this weekend...

If I am not wrong it was used to be telecast on Wednesdays and hosted by Jyotsana....

Name is quite familiar... But I don't remember anything about "aap aur hum"... I remember Saaptahiki & Chitrahar...

omg....i dont remember any of these serials......!!!! i ve neva watched tv during my skool days...!!! I was rather playin indoor or outdoor games than watching tv...!

yes i used to watch mogli n tom n jerry but got the cassettes of it....neva on DD....

the only one i cud remember watching is dekh bhai dekh....ve seen couple of episodes when it used to come on sony...! ve heard about shaktiman from loads of ppl....but vent got any oppurtunity to watch!!! i remember my frens talking about shaktiman going n flyin from one place to another n stuff.....!!!!

Oh, so this Buniyaad is a cause for those saas bahu daily soaps

Hmm, i think the saas bahu serials came much later than that!

yup, i never saw buniyaad but have heard that is was pretty good, from people who dont like the recent saas-bahu serials. As far as i m concerned, at least buniyaad didnt have people roaming around in ridiculously flashy clothes in equally idiotic houses making it look like a circus.
The sad part is that even bengali serials have picked up this trend from that "Ekta-gharana" and i m terribly ashamed about it.
