Lets Make it Real

As All of us are already talking about IBB Meet so I had a word with Admin about the same so that we can make it real. Admin approved the idea of this meet and now we need to decide the date and time of meet.

As Delhi is National Capital of India so we are starting this from Delhi and will make it happen in other parts too

Please post here if you are in for this meet, till now i think 1 Dec 2008 is a good date for meet

Ok and let me tell you the first hand plan which we can modify or change according to suggestions and needs of members
First we will meet up in any cafe like Barista or Cafe Coffee Day where we can sit to talk, after that can go somewhere for a walk or for some fun activities. As a matter of concern some females may not feel comfortable to come alone so you can bring your partners too Will not mind if you want to bring your parents

Now its time for all of you to post your idea's, date n time of meet and place too

I am sure we will make it a real fun...

I will wait for IBB Meet - Chennai/Bangalore

I'm not comfortable with the date... If its after 1st week of Decemeber, then I might make it...
And I guess girls ain't any giggly dolls here... who need parents company all the time... Plzzz no Parents meet this time... That will make whole atmosphere formal... I don't mind if they come with partners... If I can, I'll come with mine too...

If there's any reimbursement facility from IBB for Air fares,then I will surely come....

I would like to attend but 1-Dec-2008 is a bit early for me (I have just returned back).

If there are 25+ members, then Barista or CCD will not be a good venue.

I think 1st December is too early, i think we should have more notice, it may sound too far ahead but i think 1st or 2nd week of Jan 2009 is good, gives everyone good time to plan and come!

Nothing will be better for me if its in new year... I might be running by that time...

Jan is so far and i think will need to make it bit early but as this meet is for all of us so just speak your ideas and can delay the meet

I know some places around where 30-40 is not a problem

I think a months notice gives time for anyone to get holidays if they are working or getting work out of the way to attend the meeting which is why i thought a month should be ok, but lets see what everyone else says!

holidays :scared: what do you mean by holidays we are not going on vaccation or something yaar...its a one day meet thats it and that is too in day time or may continue it till nite for some party or something

I know we not planning a holiday but there are many people who work and who work different shifts and stuff so sometimes its easier to get a holiday (day off) in advance as you have better chances. And its easier for those who are not from Delhi who want to meet up, as they will need a day in traveling or staying in Delhi the night! And like you said if its going to continue into a party then obviously the next day as a day off would be better for some!

Oh another thing when having a months notice its easier for one to organize things, especially if they have a busy schedule that way people will be able to get time out to meet up!

i think i can't... will depend on the location actually... but i was mad cause u startd the meet discussion the time whn i anouncd my offline days ...

okay.. saturday sunday mornings work best for me .. or else friday saturday nights...just tell me a week in advance and that s it . ILL BE THERE>

there is no latest update from my side coz i have left this on all members to decide date and time of meet

so its flexible and will make it according to needs of members

as far as i am concerned i can only make it either in Dwarka, cause i dnt have a driver's license and am limited to just this area ... or i can make it at a place thats close to a metro station on the blue line...
as this wud also ensure i dont waste much time in the commute, and the place is easy to reach too (also by others).... yes i sound selfish, but sorry folks, i am just in a very tense time here.
