so you really thought there is a free sms service here some where ? well i dont know of any if you do post them here so every one can use it

Hi Admin,
Rediff Bol provides Free SMS to any mobile number in India.

It allows 2 SMSes a day to a single number.

Download it and enjoyyyyyyy ...

In Delhi Mtnl pre paid has a plan called Vidyarthi which allows you to send free local sms to any network and free calls to all mtnl mobiles and land lines in Delhi. National calls are Rs1 per min to any network or land line.

The initial pack is I think Rs300 and then 200-300 per month for the validity .. Check out with your nearest sanchar hut for more details

Sounds cool. But, still now BSNL charges are higher when compared to services of private sectors. I can't get the mystery behind that.
