i think its a latency issue.. it was showning ur server as not responding and latency as 2k...

not exactly. U should be able to see my server in the lan page if everything is all right. but u probably added my server ip in the favourites tab and that place is not controlled by Garena. only the virtual lan connection in lan tab is controlled by garena. Its a lil bit complicated and I m no expert, otherwise I would have done somethin 4 u right away.

i dont think latency will be a problem...we have enough speed...and frame rate in cs is quite decent...

it would have been great if u could stay online from 2 to 3 am. then we could all play together. Last night only me and shadow was there, so we killed each other promptly.

let my college start...i'l try...i can give reasons to my mom

i can chat or stay in the forum...but cant play coz after 2am i'll be on my laptop..just in case if my mom comes i can easily close and act like sleeping

you reminded of those days when I used to get up quietly from by bed at night and play Age of Empires : Rise of Rome untill I heard a sound from any part of the house.

haha..i've done that also...i used to take a blanket and put it over the monitor and myself so that light from my monitor was dim...then i finally gave up when i joined engineering..now after 3yrs u opened my eyes again with CS...

hey guys...currently m using MTNL 256kbps UNLMTD....me frm delhi....my ping is really high even on vstreet servers 200~!(when i play cs)

m thinking of shifting to airtel....but i dont know how it would turn out....
people wid aitel delhi can u guys tell me about the speeds of their 256 UNLTMD plan? and charges...
also can u tell me what ping do u get on these server??

the ping totally depends upon the server condition and current load and ur own line.
a ping of less than 100 is ideal for CS1.6. 200 is on the high side, but u have to remember that u are in india and around here 200 is the average ping.

Did I suggest u Garena in the past ???? or to someone else ? Anyway, if u use softwares like GARENA to connect to specific servers or create servers, u can always use tunnels to optimize connection with ur fellow gamers. It works. i have seen latency greater than 600 come down to 150.
