You need to give repo to X number of members before giving repo to the same member.

Imagine X is 15.

If you repo-ed Member 'a' then you need to repo 15 other members (eg: b,c,d,e,f,g,h,i,j,k,l,m,n,o,p) before giving repo to 'a' again.

Yes, it is. It's kind of like a hidden feature. Same with the thread rating system too.

Am i correct by saying that

1000 posts = [you are able to give] 1 rep point
2000 posts = 2 rep point
3000 posts = 3 rep point etc

So the guy who gets repo ed by Admin is a very lucky guy

Anyway, it happened once again, I think that the new guys are not given a right to give repo because three of my rep points are greyed out. When I visit the post it says, "ur rep on this post is EVEN".

when newprouser was a newcomer, he gave me rep once, it was greyed out and didnt add up to my total rep. It has happened again twice since then. I m really giving up hope.

I too got 2 repos from new users this month ... actually i noticed that atleast 5% of my rep was from new users ....

yeah, but my repos from new-comers are not adding up to the total.

@Admin, Can the mods have additional power to award rep points to whoever they want, whenever they like?

On the other side, can anyone please explain me why there is a restriction in awarding a repo to the other member. I know there gonna be something about it..pls tell. Can't it be infinite

The restriction is to prevent abuse of the system. Otherwise people may just start giving repo to each other for no reason at all. I support the restriction but there should be a method to allow the restriction to be lifted from responsible members.
