it seems a lot of users are from Chennai followed by Delhi .... i think its reflected in the no of active members from the corresponding cities ....

Reason being Chennai on top is thanks to BSNL being professional there... I've never seen so many dedicated BSNL centres anywhere else... But I was amazed to see number of BSNL centres in chennai like we see Reliance world or Tata indicom in north & west... I guess no. of BSNL users are high in Chennai cuz of that... And cuz of BSNL's confusing 2-8 night unlimited rule, people are bound to visit this forum...

Yup... In the places I've lived... BSNL centres mean BSNL exchange office/regional office...

from what i have read here all ISPs are more professional in South ... from BSNL , Sify to Reliance

Just the other day i heard some guy from north complaining about Reliance BB+ service ..... i am using it and i have absolutely no problem

South India has got more internet penetration as compared to North India I guess... On every site I take care of which has majority Indian traffic.. South India dominates in participation and traffic both.

I am not too sure if it has got to do something with literacy level or are south Indians richer then Northies to be able to afford more internet connections per capita..

Mumbai, Bangalor and Chennai is where the majority of visitors come from followed by places like Delhi, Calcutta and so on..
I have not mapped it ever so I am going to put a small image thinggy which you can click on and be taken to another site where you can see a map showing where are the visitors on the site coming from in the last 24 hours... would be a lot of fun...
