    I wish you all a very happy Lohri

    For those who dont know what it is... its a Punjabi festival which I am not sure why its celebrated but us punjabi people light up bone fires and eat and drink and dance around the fire drink a bit more eat some more and dance again and then keep drinking till we cant eat or drink any more

    Lohri is celebration of good crop.its a bonn fire to Almighty God and dedicating him with the part of the crops and burning evils that happened in the last year.i hope this New Year will bring all of us,some peace of mind.and we may not fight and curse each other.an end to terror and hypothetical sickularism.

    was not aware of this festival before, happy Lohri everyone.
    Has mannu's disappearence got something to do with this ???

    just one question though ..........
    with so much drinking and dancing, dont they ever puke ???

    A quiz: All Indian festivals vary in date as per the Julian (solar) calendar. So why does Makar Sankranti fall exactly on Jan-14 each year?
