i think you have a point.but its not the internet that is the culprit, but the guidance that teenagers receive.

i believe there was no internet 50 60 years back! people were still murdered then.so i think this goes a bit deeper than just internet!

i think these vital issues are important to be touched upon..
It's up to the individual how much he time he/she wants to spend on internet.But most of the people dunno that they are addict to internet. The first step to know that you are addict,then take nessecary steps to overcome the addiction.
One major factor is that, when people are on the net, there is general tendency of a false feeling of security (like the ostrich) and they tend to lower their guard. Taht makes them vulnerable. Particularly the young ones who have a very impressionable mind. And there are persons on the lurk to take advantage of the situation.
Its called a Defence Mechanism in Psychology terms...a form of escapism.
And more or less we all are part of it in one way or the other.

yes all tht matters is guidance given to the children....moreover due to a lot of exposure these days.....curiousity has increased to kno a lot of things n wht easy n accessible way than the net....
its the easiest medium.....so one shud understnd tht specially kids n teens donot mis use .....
well its very difficult to actually realise tht a person is addicted to the net or not.....
Dont count wat u lost, cherish wat u ve & plan wat to gain...coz past neva returns but future may return the lost! Think-Decide-Act!!!!
