But seriously, what I meant in my previous posts is:

Why are you guys so concerned with the posts in offtopic and other such threads? My advice is if you are so worried that current post count is showing count of all threads and then on the last day it will reduce drastically because certain sections will be excluded, then stop posting in such forums for the time being.

I have still not recovered from the the hundreds of posts that were reported during the early days of the contest.

actually the announcement on the first post was very clear. but after some members posted their opinions and you said that:"you people decide... i am a bit confused by the reaction of both sides... ", we got confused about the actually excluded sections. that is why i think, everyone is asking to tell the final decision. for the time being i am sticking to the announcement made on the first post of this thread. and an updated post count page will definitely help a lot during the days of the contest specially the last days.

Final decision will be announced tomorrow after consulting admin.

As I have told you before I am not a Tech guy, so don't know much about Broadband connections, LAN, Servers, and the stuff inside the computer goes above my head, therefore much of my time and posts are in the general sections like offtopic general discussion, lounge, entertainment etc.

I know I could be the odd one out, as I know nothing technical. But only because of the friends I have found here on IBB I am still with a Technical Forum.

J4k, I have noticed that in the previous thread from Admin, He said the contest will end on 20 Feb midnight, while here in this thread in post #1 you have mentioned 19 feb midnight as the last date.

Please clarify.

Feb-19/Feb-20? What's the difference really? We are not too much fussed, are we? I am myself unsure as to when the contest began. Some say, Jan-20, other say, Jan-21.

Be that as it may, let us say that Feb-20 is the last day.

sir, you are not providing any concrete information to our queries on this thread. neither yet we know the excluded sections nor the exact last date of contest period. if it is of 30 days, it should be 19th feb. these things do matter sir, when we are serious about the contest. sir plz, discuss these things and tell us the actual decision. i mean these discussions cannot go on as long as the contest does.

its 8th of feb. now and still there is no decision of excluded threads............???.......only 13 days left.....

@all, Please do not make posts in the said forums (in post # 1) if your sole aim is to win the contest. You are of course welcome to post anywhere.

The posts under the Top Posters,does this count only include the valid posts or it also includes the spam posts?

I think it includes the valid posts only. Will wait for Admin/Mods to fill in

Adminji/Modiji...do you have any suggestion so that this doesn't happens.

Currently all posts are being counted except Jokes. Admin is busy with his work and did not get time to modify the stats rule.

In a way its good that Adminjii didn't modify the stats rule. It would be good if the winners are kept secret till the last day. that would create more suspense & drama...
