FedEx India - FedEx International Shipping, Tracking, Express Delivery

I wanted some of my documents to be parceled to US typically to houston and watertown,.. to some of the universities.. well i enquired many courier companies.. all parcel company were telling that they take ATLEAST 4 to 5 working days to deliver to US. But i was running out og time .. i just had 4 days exactly.. and tht also 4th day was my dead line for application to one of the universities.. well at this time.. i came across this WONDERFUL courier named FedeX... huh... bloody bull ****.. the gal sitting at the counter said.. they take MAXIMUM 3 days.. in express delivery.....and charges were far high... still as i was running out of time.. i sadi if not 3 atleast 4 day was my dead line n it will defenately reach ... i paid for it.. and the parcel was on.. guess what.. holy damm ******


the parcel reached... on 6th day..

now what should i do??my dead line for application to universities are gone.. its bloody just waste of my money n documents..


i am not getting info on their site that how many days they take as mentioned on their site.. if i can find as they told just verbally. . i cannot fight with them as no written proof..


guys what to do? any idea??

don't have a clue... i see their jets almost everyday taking off and landing here at delhi.. even when i was taking off for bambay, i cud see a fedex jet taking off from the runway! they must be slow! what to say, well at such distances u just can't make sure that deadlines would be met...

i really have no experience with fedex (other than the jets... lol )

well funny starry......... but u know i just wasted 5 grands.. in tht nothig i got.. huh... bloody *****up courier... if they take 4 to 5 days as like other courier than y the bloody hell the counter gal told tht they can do it like delivered by 4th day?? they told em normally they take 3 days.. but still for safety she told me take 4 days for granted..which seemed to be fine for me.. but than......... holy **** they took 6 days... huh...

i did 2 couriers.. so... it cost me tht much.. well terms n condition i dont think they will tell us tht with gauranteed time they will deliver the courier..

well i ve neva had such an issue with fedex....

try checking the rule tht within how many days thy were to make it reach to houston.....
n than u can ask for a refund atleast.....

i m sorry cant b of any help...u can talk to the admin n deans in ur uni's there so as too accept ur application due to circumstances.....maybe thy will

ha ha ha.. u think those universities will accept my entry?? lol.. for them every time there will be lots of admission applications.. wonder how they eleminate them all.. but still i will try... but fedex.. sucks.. thts it.. bloody m not gonna ask for money back.. daan kar diye samaj lunga.. bhagwan usko kabhi maaf nahi karegA.... especially tht bitchy lady.. who was on the counter and told me tht its gonna be fine.. perfectly reaching....

hey doc if u see here FedEx International Courier & Shipping Services they have nowhere given 4 days as the limit, its 4-5days... so they are not saying anything definitely.

exactly what type of delivery was it??

well u didnt ve a confirmation from their end stating in how many days latest it would reach? plus check the website......

yes exactly.. and the problem is when i went to the courier ppl.. the office bitch told it will take MAXIMUM 4 days.. but tht i cant take it proof.. as its whole thing is verbally.. so i told aaka.. tht practically its impossible to mess with them..

mail them(fedex) stating the entire course of actions ... i am sure they will at least reply ... and then act accordingly ... but first mail them ... communicate first ... nothing can be done by only speculating things ... i have never heard -ve comments about fedex before ... i know a bit about fedex as some of my friends in pune working in an it company are working on a fedex project and one of them have been onsite in us, tennesse (fedex) for quite some time now. i regularly chat with her ....

@Doctor Sahab, I am really sorry that you missed an important deadline.

But don't you think that you delayed the dispatch till the last moment. It was important that you should have sent the info well in time (unless circumstances were beyond control). And then it became 'urgent'. We need to understand the philosophy and rationale behind Important vs. Urgent. When important tasks are delayed significantly they become urgent - even desparate.

But I am sorry. I should not be lecturing you like this. What are your options?

fedex courier sucks..
may be u r in touch with good ones.. dont know i also thought it to be nice.. still i will mail them and ask for the reasons..

kixxi.. i dont mind if u tell me somethin... infact i get to know a lot many things from u.. anyways. . as i said i will mail them n lets see what happens.. and also dead lines are dead now.. i will be pleased if i get the reply from the university... as per the courier was late.. it was unable circumstances.. thts y it became urgent..

well yes ofcourse thy lost a customer.....but at the end of the day their brand name is very powerful....prolly try n kno the reason for the delay atleast....i m sure thy wud ve an answer for it...

also as far as i kno....fedex ppl thy give it in writing tht within how many days thy r gonna make the delivery....coz i jus remembered tht i recd. once an imp cheque thru em within a day in uk.....n thy had this condition with my uncle in usa tht it has to reach by the time thy ve mentioned or else thy ll return the money back
