Default Practically are petrol prices really down?

    Dear friends,
petroleum prices are coming down day by day.but do we really get that quantity for which we are paying?
    No

the petrol station owners are very clever.indeed helped by the mobil oil cos.they really dont give you enough for what you are paying them.
For ex.if govt rates for petrol is 42/ltr.(this is maxim.rate at now)what these guys are doing is that will charge you Rs.8 for the mobile oil which you earn with a litre of oil when you call" 50 ka dalna".this is for those who are paying for small vehicles viz.bikes scooters etc.for 100 Rs.they will give you petrol of about 92 rest is mobil oil.thus you are faked up.so practically you didnt got much of the petrol for which you paid.
I own a bike and a car.i usually use bike normally.car for some special events.so i usually fill up with Rs.100.i get petrol worth Rs.92.while rest for mobil.these petrol station owners are so clever.they involved the mobil oil cos.and got the mobil expensive.so that they dont get a minimized share of commission.
Thus they are creating extra profit by selling us less oil(saving it)and giving up just a half or even one third of a pouch of mobil(they buy more and it comes cheaper).
So how can we f them?
There is a simple method.buy a mobil.its not costly.not a expensive one.you can even buy pouches of it which is cheaper.than when you know you have less petrol.just fill a small amount of this mobil whic you bought.and go to the filling station and ask him to "SAADA Dalna sau ka".when you say this (fill with crude petrol)he cant say no.and you get the real quantity for your money which you paid to them.you get not lesser than of 100.

Boond boond se Samundar banta hai! so if we save little by little.we can add alot at the end of a fiscal.

I don't understand. What Mobil Oil are you talking about? I have a car and a scooter. Whenever I fill up, I buy petrol only - no oil.

Only bikes and scooters of the Hamara Bajaj era needed an petrol+oil mix.

am not talking of the guys who get super petrol.indeed a little mobil is good for your engine.helps from burnout.

There is no such thing as super petrol. We have only two categories of petrol - standard unleaded and power (by HP) / speed (by BP) / premium (by IOC), etc.

I have never heard of engine burnout. As long as you have quality oil in your oil tank and vehicle is properly serviced, there is no need of extra additives. It is something that you are buying out of your own paronia.

So, in essence, aren't you buying something that is optional? Then why are you suggesting that petrol price is still inflated?

I have travelled far and wide. I have been to Delhi quite often and in recent times too (my bro-in-law was resident in Delhi (Gurgaon) till a year ago). I have never seen "Mobil Oil Petrol".

But at most petrol pumps, they do sell petrol + 2T Oil. At high tech petrol pumps, there is an automatic mixer too. This kind of petrol is for older verhicles (read two stroke two/three wheeler) that did not have an independent oil tank. All old Bajaj Scooters, 3 seater petrol engine rickshaws, etc. require this kind of 2T Oil mixed petrol.

There could be a lot of short changing involved in sale of petrol + 2T oil.
