There are 7 girls in a bus.

Each Girl has 7 bags.

Each Bag contains 7 cats.

Each cat has 7 kittens.

Each cat/kitten has 4 legs.

Tell me how many Legs are there in a bus.

and the answer is ...:38:

manish ... if you expect the tricky answer then - the question should have been Tell me how many Legs are there on the bus.

and the answer would have been - There are NO legs on the bus! Buses have WHEELS.

if you want the mathematical answer:

answer = 10990

7 girls x 7 bags x 7 cats = 343 cats + 343 cats x 7 kittens = 2401 kittens = 2744 cats & kittens x 4 legs each = 10976 cats' & kittens' legs + 2 x 7 girls = 10990

In my enthusiasm i forgot that each bag has 7 cats and hence my wrong calculation. I hope I get the next one atleast

What about the legs of the bus driver unless one of the girls was driving. But i think this is a trick question. This is the same riddle that Simon asks Bruce Willis in Die Hard With A Vengeance. And i am sure the answer was not 10990.

total number of cats with each girl=7X7=49 cats with each girl
total number of cats 49 X7=343 cats
total number of cats legs= 343X4=1372 cat legs
total number of kittens 343X7=2401 kittens
No. of legs of all kittens = 2401X4=9604 kitten legs

so total number of legs= 14+1372+9604=10,990 legs in the bus

Am I late ? My answer would have been 28.
