Bad Idea. Like Yahoo Briefcase, Geocities is also going to be closed soon.

Yep, the new CEO of the company is said to be axing many jobs.....

yaa... but shutting down geocities will affect many. Imagine how many pics on various sites will be lost. I used to store some very important and frequently used pics and small files on geocities.

why so when you have a big storage space in gmail and other free online storage services, and u can directly upload from ur geocities account i guess.
