Jus wanted to know if how many of you guys voted ...

if u wish to, pls tell...

- why you didn't vote (if it applies to you)
- for whom you voted.
- why you voted for a particular candidate/party

I didn't vote coz i couldn't get my name into the lists even after 3 attempts and still i've'nt got my voter ID as well.

To whome voted.. i dont think many will answer but i dont have any fear or anything so ill say

i voted for BJP as when last time BJP was in power it made good quality roads all over India, brought the Dollar rate to around 39 rs, and the most i liked is made the oil price directly proportional to international market

I voted
Lots of state & national issue is present in my state.
BJP is not relevant in our state.in west Bengal voters are always very polarized.In this time state issue(as well as national issue) about agriculture,Industrialization and land acquisition can be a big factor also Singur & Nandigram can make effect in south Bengal.
Obviously this think touch me very much.
I always believe in case of Lokshabha election party gets biggest priority than the candidate.So i have voted the candidate in the basis of political party.

I Voted for Congress, as want a stable govt. and Manmohan isn't so bad. even after 5yrs in power his hands are clean.

Yes, I too Voted today. Had to stand in queue for 2 hours. There were lots of unethical activities carried our today in kolkata during voting. Rigging, Booth jamming, Booth Capture, Violence ...

What special have you got in the last 5 years?

Stability? Dont say that.

I think stability is also an issue because most of the people don't want election in each year.
What 'special' thing we archive in all previous 14th Lokshabha.May be two -three govt did very good job in last 62 years.

I think he compared UPA Govt with last few govt.

I know this is a bit late...but I (30th april) voted because if I voted for the local BJP candidate he might become PM very soon condition to BJP forms the next government. A PM candidate representing your constituency...that does not happen every day,does it?

Successive BJP governments at state level have done great things in my state. So my vote has been in favour of them since last 2 elections.

Good that you voted for BJP. Even I support BJP. But be practical. Chances are very less that NDA will form the government. Harsh Reality. But This time also UPA will form the government as most esperts and exit polls suggest.

Exit polls suggested that Modi would lose in 2007.

We were laughing our asses off when the results came out. The look on Burkha and rajsh*t were priceless! I am thinking same thing may happen again.

Chances are very less bro. Unless BJP manages some big new ally from the so called third front after the result declarations. According to the current compositions of NDA & UPA there will be at least a gap of 30-40 seats in favour of UPA.

I am hoping for the best. If congies come to power for another 5 years...this country is doomed. I would even go to extent of telling people who live out side of India to stay there and don't come back.

If congies get power, don't even dream of sending your kids to college. If you are a graduate, your job (even in the private sector) may have already been assigned to some minority person based purely on his/her religion and/or caste.

This portion really hurt me a lot i am GM so when ever i went to any place where there is merit list or category system the person who is unfit would get it before me...

I really dont understand why they do like this .... everything we do & work hard and some one else who is less worth than you for that place occupies and you are again doomed. I really hate that policy. what i want is, Ex:let there be concession for getting into Entrance test but not when the results are out.. let the one who is worth for that place shall take it so even people who are getting help from him who is sitting, atleast they will be satisfied, now if an unfit person is sitting in chair then, wise one is having problem, he himself is having problem because he doesnt know what to do, people who are seeking help from him will also be disappointed, by doing all this nobody is happy then why do it..?

I heard that obama is eager to make a deal with the new PM. I'm sure he's planning to pressurise us to sign NPT treaty.\

That is a problem. I can edit the poll to increase the count but I cannot vote again.

I voted wrongly on option 3 when it should have been option 2.

Actually, I need to add one more option: I could not as I was out of town. Adding it now.
