Rep Power: 2  |  how to download a part of file from torrents? how to download a part of file from torrents? hii friends.. how to download a part of movie from torrent file? for example if there is a movie of size 700 mb in a torrent file. i just want to download last some part (sample) to check the clarity of the print. Rep Power: 2 |  Some movie torrents do have samples attached .............. like if you Wanna check the quality of the print then download the movie torrent file from the torrent site and while opening it via bit-torrent client it would list all the files it would download while downloading the movie which sometimes includes sample ............ at this moment of time uncheck the full movie and only check mark the sample and add the torrent ............ but this whole thing is based on the fact that the torrent file you have downloaded for the movie contains a sample attached ........ |

| ^^ yeps thats the best way. But incase if none of the above exists AND if the movie is included in the torrent as AVI (well any format except ISO/ZIP/RAR), then you can run the file in VLC player. However to do that a some minimum amount must be downloaded. If the movie is in RAR format, dziobas RAR player can help....  |

| still one trick DL this 3GP Player 2009 when u r downloading a movie from a torrent and u have completed at least 5-10% then u can try to run that incomplete file in that player!!! |

| Platinum Member  | Even VLC player can play a part of the file. But you must have at least 2-3 minutes of continuous portion of the file - helps even better if the portion is from the start of the file. But in torrent, you cannot control what part of the file you can download. All you can do is tell the torrent client to download the first and last piece first.

| I download a bit say for 15 minutes and try to play the file. Most of the time it works. |
