No,offence. But i think lols in jokes section contribute more spam than yard section. The games(not all) in yard section are interesting. If there are no fun threads, most regular members will get bored which eventually will decrease the activity in the forum. I will not all be happy if the threads(most of them) are deleted from the yard section. That is why i suggested a separate section for forum games earlier

Repo's are not affected. But as SK said, there may not be any repo's to the posts in the Yard section. Even if so, repo count will remain intact.

Being serious about the good of IBB, it would be better to think twice before doing anything, unlike our 'Highest Poster Contest'. And in my opinion, it would be better to have a word from Admin also.
Anyway, chit-chat threads usually donot set negatives to a forum, while many of the Tech/Serious threads made here, which are complete (or atleast partial) copy-paste, from other sites/pages in the internet, are so kind enough to donate us a black mark, which the search engines (mainly Google) uses, for the prioritisation (or sorting) of links in the search results.
Therefore, if we really want to think about the good of IBB, we will have to delete some great number of threads/posts, and prevent/warn future occurances of such threads.
P.S: I am in an angry (maybe it can be called 'teasing' also

but its true... while its true that off-topic are not contributing anything technically, they are very much essential for members 'integrity'. And the other part is , sadly true, as well.... Many of the topics are blatently copied letter-to-letter from other souces. The least that can be expected in such cases is that the user quotes the words or writes the article in his own words and links to the actual source.
