Our Forum does not require a 3rd party image hosting service

Our Forum gives us space to add our pic

Just click the attachements icon (the paper clip icon) and upload the image using the browse button

The above tutorial is useful for forums which do not provide you space to upload images and explicitly ask u to use third party sites for that

    Point No 2
    In Image shack
You do not have to copy direct link to image

just copy the address given under address link to forum and paste it in the post ..... thats it

Good thread...I was thinking of creating the same tutorial.

2 things which I want to point out:

    1) don't upload images which are more than 800widex600high...Anything bigger than that disrupts the flow and it becomes very difficult for people who see this forum @1024x768 resolution, which majority do.

    2) Our forum does allow attached images, but I would encourage third party sites like photobucket, imageshack, tinypic etc. It saves boat loads of site's bandwidth(data transfer and storage). And you can ask any site admin, one of the most expensive things to run a website is bandwidth.

    Can't rep you..
