when you have something to ask like this then please share the details of it. Even if needed copy the content from google and paste it here and at the bottom give the source link also.
Only then you will get some proper reviews else this also will become chat & joke thread.
well kiran there is nothing really to explain, just your views on what you thought the role of Indian Air Force was in the wars between 1965 and 1971?
Even i wasnt born then!!
What i wanted to convince is post some details about that war and ask reviews, see now i really dont know what happened or anything about at that time, i am totally blank about it. So if you post some details all will read it (who are like me) and give their views thats all.

Indian Air Force in 1965 war
Read any History book and there would be the answer
I remember myself as flying officer (in Last birth)i was given the task of hitting the radars of Porkis and eventually succeeded in it. Most of Porkis left out of their houses watching my thrill flight. I was also given the task of going inside Beijing and shooting a missile on Maotsetung's cabinet meeting. But i was hanged by the Chinese because it missed.

The Indian Air Force is was established in 1932 by the then British Raj and was named the RIF(Royal Indian Airforce) . When India became a republic the prefix Royal was dropped and it became the IAF (Indian Airforce).
It is the fourth largest Airforce in the whole word behind US , Russia and China. It has 730 combat aircrafts and 1700 non-combat aircrafts (Troop transport type)
In the 1962 Indo-China war IAF was ill prepared so it did not take much part in the war .
In the 1965 Indo-Pak war IAF fared much better , but lost a lot of aircrafts because of wrong strategy followed . Even though Indian aircrafts were old tech compared to Pakistan’s Indian pilots were better trained and so performed better than Pak’s . Most of India’s aircrafts were destroyed when they were parked in Airforce bases that were bombed by PAF (Pak Airforce)
The highlight of IAF’s efforts was the 1971 war. This was the time IAF high command realized the effectiveness of carrying out strategic bombing of vital military supplies of the enemy . It also achieved complete air superiority over both East Pakistan (Bangladesh) as well as West Pakistan . They bombed railway lines, roads, factories ,dams and oil supplies . Towards the end of the war, IAF's transport planes dropped leaflets over Dhaka urging the Pakistani forces to surrender, demoralizing Pakistani troops in East Pakistan (Bangladesh).
During the Kargil war Mirages were used successfully to disrupt Pakistan’s supplies . MIG-29s were also deployed in large numbers successfully forcing the Pak ground troops trying to cross the border to take a rain check .
