    wow how did i miss such a book . will read it as soon as i can

    It is definitely not for 10-12 year olds, but then I was no
    ordinary 10 year old. I was reading BSc books at that time

    You should read "Darkly Dreaming Dexter" . No relation to the cartoon

    I read Catch-22 first time some 18/19 years back. Then I was in the high school.
    Keep reading it once every 4/5 years. As I grew older, my perceptions of the book also changed.
    A must read for anyone.

    It also gave a new phrase to the English language
    "a catch-22 situation"

    Also it was frustrating trying to explain the story to my
    girlfriend at that time.

    Well this book is definitely not for teenegers. In the beginning it's ok but as the story progresses it becomes gorier n darker.

    probably before that ;-) I was the onle one in my class
    who knew what a whorehouse was. (remember there is a chapter
    titled Yossarians whorehouse or something) ;-)
