    Default Rediff Shopping

Anybody use rediff shopping. The cost seems to be much lesser for brands like HP. I am in search for a scanner and the price seems to be affordable in rediff shopping to the quote they gave.

If you have any experience with rediff shopping like after sales, defective product, please share.

Rediff shopping does not have proper customer protection system. better stick to E-Bay.

In ebay itself i was cheated

I took a new phone (as said) and when i got it after payment, it was totally different model with almost scrapped handset, and the seller was a power seller there
after that i totally stoped buying electronics online.

Go for a good market survey. Most of the ebay, rediff items are readily available in local markets at comparatively cheaper rates. But you have to bargain.

I have done a lot of shopping from eBay and have not been cheated. I have ordered DVDs, HDD, iPod, etc. All items were ordered via PaisaPay.

    PaisaPay guarantees satisfactory delivery.

Naturally. A team from my company developed and implemented it.

OK. What I said is true but ignore the bragging.

Thumbs down rediff shopping a lottery game

i recently purchased a LLOYD DVD player through rediffshopping. In two weeks time the players remote stopped functioning. Alas there are no manual options for many basic functions. I asked rediffshopping to provide me the address of LLOYd service centre near cochin. Till date I have sent almost 5 mails to rediff but their reply was never to my question. moreover i mailed complaint to perfectservice which is the service section of LLOYD and surprisingly no reply has been received from them. SO BETTER STAY AWAY FROM ONLINE PURCHASES OR TRY YOUR LUCK.

But why did you buy an unknown brand?

Don't know about Rediff but eBay is just a channel. They are responsible for proper delivery of the goods. They will hold payment till delivery is made successfully. They will never get involved in after sales service.
